Promise CHC refreshes its logo, website with new colors


SIOUX CENTER – Promise Community Health Center has updated and refreshed its logo and website with new colors.

The logo design has remained the same, but colors now are navy blue and gray instead of blue and teal.

In doing so, Promise also has completely refreshed its website with the new colors.

Other changes will be made as time goes on to implement the new logo.

Walgenbach brings passion for community health to Promise CHC

SIOUX CENTER – Roleen Walgenbach has a passion for reaching out to the medically underserved in a community health setting. She has dedicated her career to it. Walgenbach has cared for patients for over three decades on the Leech Lake Reservation in rural northern Minnesota – first as a public health nurse and later as a nurse practitioner. During that time, she has served for Leech Lake Reservation Health Division and Cass Lake Indian Hospital. She has experience in both in the clinical and administrative settings. Roleen Walgenbach will begin seeing patients at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center as a part-time nurse practitioner on Friday, May 19. In addition, she will provide Department of Transportation physicals for commercial motor vehicle drivers as a new service offered by Promise to the community. Mayra Ortiz assumes role of receptionist at Promise CHC

SIOUX CENTER – Mayra Ortiz wants everyone to feel welcome as they walk into Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center. Mayra Ortiz is a new receptionist at Promise Community Health Center. She wants to make people feel welcome when they come in for an appointment. She also wants to bring a passion for helping people in need. Mayra, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, recently assumed the role of receptionist at Promise. “I like the vision that Promise stands behind – that together we deliver the promise of a healthier tomorrow,” Mayra said. “Even more so, I like the fact that you will not be turned down for quality health care due to lack of insurance or financial situation.” Mayra, who grew up in Sioux Center and graduated from Sioux Center High School in 2011, brings a variety of customer service experience to the the position.
